Who else is annoyed that there are televisions and/or handheld video games everywhere you look?

One of my biggest pet peeves is to go to a restaurant and see a kid sitting there with a little tv or video Game. or you go into a hospital waiting room and a mother is holding a little tv up for her child to watch. how about the cars/minivans with tvs, gas pumps with tvs, the friggin checkout line in the grocery store! Who else is annoyed by this? I mean seriously, no wonder there is an obesity epidemic out there! a kid can’t go anywhere without having a television or game to keep them occupied. It’s quite sad really. what is this world coming to?

I honestly find the total inundation of technology to be a bit frightening. How long will it be before children don’t read books and play outside, because they’d rather watch the movie and play a video game that simulates playing outside. There’s actually a video game that simulates riding a bike! Am I the only one who finds that disturbing?!
